Underwriting Research Intern (Data Analytics)

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin; full-time onsite internship from June 2027 through August 2027. Candidates must be local to Milwaukee for the duration of the program.

Salary: $16.50–$30.00 per hour

• Support ad hoc underwriting research initiatives.
• Use Excel, SQL, and SAS to analyze data and uncover insights.
• Work with a hiring manager, mentor, and team on business-critical tasks.
• Participate in professional development workshops, leadership Q&A sessions, volunteer initiatives, and networking events.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in data analytics from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Previous work or classroom experience in accounting or auditing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Employer immigration sponsorship is not available.
