Intern, Analytics Modelling (Wealth Solutions)

Location: hirify.global Place New York, 225 Liberty Street, 8th Floor; must be able to come into the office

Salary: $50 per hour, plus a short-term cash incentive program

What you will do

• Support analytics projects involving optimization, statistics, analytic modeling, and data processing.
• Work with sectors including commercial and residential real estate, structured products, derivatives, equities, and alternative investments.
• Assist current teams with ongoing business requirements and accounting-related functions.
• Prepare and deliver presentations while participating in ongoing training.
• Receive mentorship, coaching, and career guidance.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a business, data science, or related degree program.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and VBA.
• Strong programming skills, especially Python, and a strong mathematical and mathematical-finance background.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks, and perform effectively under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal and written and oral communication skills, with a service-oriented and collaborative approach.
• Must be able to work onsite in New York.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of SQL.
