Assurance Principal - Construction

What you will do

• Provide industry-focused assurance, audit, and consulting services to construction clients.
• Engage with clients throughout the year to understand business goals, challenges, and operational needs.
• Develop and implement testing of internal controls, identify deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Manage fieldwork, engagement staffing, billings, collections, quality, timelines, and profitability.
• Provide financial statement guidance, business recommendations, and insights based on analysis and testing.
• Build new business opportunities, strengthen client relationships, collaborate across service lines, and mentor team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required; a master's or advanced degree is desirable.
• CPA certification required.
• 8+ years of financial statement auditing experience in a professional services firm, with construction experience desired.
• 5+ years of construction experience preferred and 5+ years of supervisory experience desired.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship preferred.
