Senior Project Manager (PMO)

Location: Remote, with flexibility to travel as required

Salary: CAD 120,000–128,000 annually

A global cannabis company developing and distributing medical cannabis products across Canada, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

What you will do

• Lead complex, enterprise-scale projects and strategic programs from business case and initiation through execution, benefits realization, and closure.
• Translate strategic priorities into project objectives, scopes, deliverables, milestones, budgets, accountabilities, and measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across operations, manufacturing, cultivation, quality, regulatory, supply chain, and other business areas.
• Establish governance through project charters, integrated plans, RAID logs, resource plans, change controls, and executive reporting.
• Lead business integration, process harmonization, systems standardization, organizational change, and operational readiness initiatives.
• Facilitate steering committees and executive decision forums while tracking risks, dependencies, commitments, and project benefits.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of progressive experience in project and/or program management.
• Proven experience leading complex, enterprise-wide, cross-functional initiatives within a formal PMO framework.
• Strong knowledge of project governance, portfolio management, risk management, resource planning, financial management, and benefits realization.
• Excellent facilitation, problem-solving, decision-making, conflict-resolution, written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Experience with MS Project, Microsoft applications, Smartsheet, and Lucidchart.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or an equivalent project management designation.
• Experience with organizational change management methodologies.
• Experience in manufacturing, operations, pharmaceutical, CPG, life sciences, or another highly regulated industry.
• Knowledge of regulatory, quality, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercialization considerations in the Canadian cannabis industry.
