Sr Program Manager - PMO Lead (Aerospace and Defense)

Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; in-office workplace with hybrid work environment possible

Salary: $165,010.21–$226,889.04 per year

What you will do

• Lead PMO operations across process improvement, change management, data management, digital systems, proposals, and integrated program solutions.
• Manage the integration and performance of multiple large-scale projects or a highly complex development program, including cost, schedule, technical execution, and customer relationships.
• Lead, mentor, and develop program managers, project managers, and PMO specialists supporting program delivery.
• Drive program-level change control, including change review boards and Engineering Change Proposal development, coordination, and submission.
• Oversee PLM, 3DX, SharePoint, data architecture, data governance, deliverable tracking, and CDRL/SDRL information-management activities.
• Identify and mitigate financial, technical, legal, schedule, and program risks while coordinating stakeholders, audits, proposals, and business-resource planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, project management, management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 10 years of progressive project or program management experience in the aerospace and defense industry, including 5 years leading large-scale, multi-year projects and teams of 10 or more cross-functional members.
• Experience managing portfolios or large independent programs, proposals or quotes, program integration, financial planning, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Knowledge of Corporate and ISO 9001:2000 policies and processes, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS).
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, conflict-resolution, change-management, mentoring, delegation, and strategic-thinking skills.
• Active Secret security clearance, ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance, and U.S. citizenship are required.

Nice to have

• PMP certification and an advanced degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of PMBOK, CMMI, agile or spiral development, and Earned Value Management.
• Experience improving program-management processes, tools, templates, guidelines, and data architectures.
