Software Engineer – AI Team (Data & ML)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid work with at least 3 days per week at the Södermalm office

What you will do

• Improve the optimisation model, including data, features, training, evaluation and real-building performance.
• Build and operate data pipelines and the AI platform for ingestion, processing, orchestration, deployment and monitoring.
• Visualise building data and model decisions so internal teams and customers can understand how the system works.
• Collaborate with Platform, Product, Customer Success and external partners to define and solve problems.
• Use AI coding agents to write, test, review and ship software, while validating their output.
• Own solutions from initial design through production operation and ongoing improvement.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience building and operating production systems.
• Experience with data engineering and large-scale pipelines using Spark, Airflow or similar tools.
• Daily experience using coding agents independently for development, testing, review and verification.
• Comfort with Linux, command-line tools, system design and production troubleshooting.
• Product orientation, clear communication and the ability to explain technical concepts through words and visualisations.
• Availability to work in a hybrid setup with at least 3 days per week in the Stockholm office.

Nice to have

• Cloud experience, ideally with Azure.
• Experience with time-series data or deploying machine learning models to production.
• Knowledge of buildings, HVAC or energy systems.
• Experience in a B2B SaaS scaleup.
