Senior Data Engineer (Azure Databricks)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden — Hybrid

What you will do

• Own, build, and scale the data platform.
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines.
• Improve data quality, architecture, governance, and reliability.
• Work with Product, Engineering, and leadership to identify valuable data, analytics, and AI opportunities.
• Connect technical decisions to business outcomes through strong stakeholder communication.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
• Excellent Python and SQL skills, with experience working with Spark.
• Strong experience building and scaling data pipelines.
• Solid understanding of data modelling and architecture.
• Ability to take ownership of data quality, governance, and reliability.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams, with a commercial mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience defining or contributing to a data strategy and roadmap.
• Experience enabling Machine Learning and AI use cases.
• Experience working closely with Product and Engineering teams.
• Previous experience owning or significantly influencing a data platform.
• Comfort combining hands-on engineering with strategic responsibility.
