Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Stockholm or Göteborg, Sweden

What you will do

• Build production-grade data platforms, ingestion frameworks, transformations, and analytical models.
• Develop hands-on solutions using Python, SQL, Spark, and PySpark.
• Design Kafka-based ingestion frameworks and onboard large-scale source systems.
• Migrate on-premises data warehouses to cloud-based Databricks lakehouses.
• Implement CI/CD, integration, modeling, data quality, observability, and security.
• Collaborate with clients, platform engineers, analytics developers, and GenAI developers in cross-functional delivery teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong Python programming skills, solid SQL and Spark experience, and sound software engineering principles.
• Experience with cloud-based data solutions, preferably Azure; AWS is also relevant.
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and data processing.
• Familiarity with Lakehouse and Medallion data architectures.
• Active use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar.

Nice to have

• Databricks or Microsoft Fabric experience.
• CI/CD pipelines for data, data governance, or graph databases experience.
• Previous consulting experience.
• Swedish language skills.
