Senior Test Engineer (DRAM/NAND)

Location: Newark, California, United States; onsite support is required and occasional travel to customer sites and industry events may be needed.

Base pay: $109,800–$137,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Create and maintain Python-based test scripts for manufacturing test platforms.
• Develop, validate, and optimize test methods and platforms for DRAM modules and SSDs.
• Analyze production test data to improve yields, product performance, quality, and process efficiency.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, Test Engineering, suppliers, and equipment vendors on validation, qualification, and tester migrations.
• Automate repetitive tasks, streamline test processes, and research emerging interface protocols such as CXL.
• Provide manufacturing training, work instructions, and onsite support to Quality and Manufacturing Engineering personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and at least five years of related experience.
• Strong Python programming, data analysis, and scripting skills.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with high-frequency test equipment, including oscilloscopes.
• Proficiency in applying generative AI tools and agentic frameworks to business problems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for explaining technical concepts and collaborating across functions.

Nice to have

• Experience with DRAM and NAND products, including DIMMs and SATA or NVMe SSDs.
• Familiarity with SQL, C, C++, C#, GitHub, or GitLab.
