SSD Product Quality & Reliability Engineer (NAND Memory)

Location: Hybrid role based in Rancho Cordova/Sacramento, California, United States; onsite work is required and the position is not eligible for remote work.

Salary: USD 121,280–194,100 yearly, with eligibility for RSU, RCU, and cash bonus programs.

What you will do

• Design, plan, and execute qualification activities for SSDs and their components.
• Develop physical understanding models to predict and improve the quality and reliability of advanced semiconductor products.
• Implement quality metrics and data-driven methodologies to predict and prevent defects.
• Develop cost-effective production monitoring and screening schemes.
• Analyze product and process performance to ensure quality and reliability targets are met across product life cycle milestones.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• At least 6 months of programming experience in C, C++, or Python.
• Ability to work onsite at the Sacramento location.
• Strong communication, research, writing, critical thinking, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a self-motivated team player.

Nice to have

• Experience with probability and statistics and statistical software such as JMP or Minitab.
• Experience with data acquisition, reduction, and analysis programming.
• Hands-on experience designing, executing, analyzing, interpreting, and synthesizing experiments.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of transistor device physics, fabrication processes, storage architecture, or NAND memory firmware.
