What you will do

• Develop test procedures and documentation to validate hardware requirements.
• Execute validation procedures, document results, and troubleshoot issues with design and sustainment engineering teams.
• Write automated test programs to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, applications, manufacturing, and quality teams on requirements, dependencies, schedules, status updates, and final results.
• Design and build test fixtures, and maintain test equipment, fixtures, and supporting hardware.
• Apply appropriate tools, equipment, and laboratory environments while continuously improving testing and validation practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education and practical experience.
• Basic understanding of analog and digital electronic hardware concepts.
• Familiarity with multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and other test and measurement equipment.
• Introductory programming skills in Python, C++, C, C#, or a similar language, with an interest in automation.
• Ability to analyze data in Excel, document technical work, communicate clearly, and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Internship or academic project experience in hardware validation or testing.
• Exposure to automated testing, scripting, statistics, data analysis, or laboratory work.
• Working knowledge of Git or other source control tools.
• Exposure to VB.NET and experience creating wiring diagrams for basic test setups.
• Basic understanding of PCB design and EDA tools.
