Manager, Return To Vendor (RTV)

Location: Remote within the United States

Base salary: $124,000–$138,000 USD per year; bonus and equity may also be available for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Own the full return-to-vendor lifecycle, from claim initiation through resolution, credit receipt, or physical return logistics.
• Maintain centralized RTV tracking, monitor open claims and aging balances, and develop policies, procedures, and escalation protocols.
• Negotiate vendor credits, replacements, and return authorizations while reviewing contracts, purchase orders, and chargeback terms.
• Coordinate with Buying, Planning, Logistics, Warehousing, Finance, Accounts Payable, and Quality Assurance on returns, documentation, credits, and defect trends.
• Report on RTV volume, recovery rates, aging claims, and liabilities, and implement improvements to reduce cycle times and disputes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or supply chain, including direct RTV, chargeback, or vendor compliance exposure.
• Experience negotiating with vendors and handling contract terms, credit processes, and dispute resolution.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage large data volumes and derive actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and inventory or order management platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple claims and priorities.
