Sourcing and Procurement Lead

Location: Toronto, Canada, with remote options available in Canada

Annual base salary: 96,000–126,000 CAD

What you will do

• Develop and execute procurement and vendor management strategies across technology and corporate spend categories.
• Build the procurement function, including governance frameworks, operating models, policies, vendor segmentation, and team development.
• Lead strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, renewals, and commercial discussions with key vendors and service providers.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, Security, Compliance, Product, Operations, and Revenue teams to manage third-party risk, privacy requirements, contractual obligations, and vendor performance.
• Implement procurement technologies, AI-enabled workflows, contract lifecycle management processes, and spend visibility programs.
• Provide vendor intelligence, market analysis, reporting, and recommendations on cost optimization, procurement effectiveness, and business risk.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, vendor management, supply chain, commercial operations, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading complex vendor negotiations, commercial agreements, and strategic sourcing initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Experience designing procurement processes, governance frameworks, operating models, and vendor management programs.
• Strong financial and analytical skills, including business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and financial models for executive decision-making.
• Experience with procurement platforms, contract lifecycle management systems, enterprise business systems, and third-party risk management tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.

• Experience using AI-enabled tools and automation to improve procurement operations, contract management, spend analysis, or vendor intelligence.
