Entry Level Mechanical Designer (Revit/HVAC)

Location: Hybrid role in Atlanta, Georgia, United States

What you will do

• Assist with designing and developing mechanical components, systems, and products in Revit.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and analysis, including heat-load and airflow calculations.
• Support troubleshooting and optimization of mechanical systems.
• Prepare design specifications, plans, reports, technical presentations, and project updates.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
• Support material, component, and equipment selection as well as quality control and assurance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Basic understanding of mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in the Atlanta, Georgia hybrid location.

Nice to have

• Internship or co-op experience in mechanical engineering.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE, IMC, and other industry standards and codes.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC design.
