Bookkeeper (AI)

What you will do

• Own the full bookkeeping cycle, including journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Operate accounting workflows in NetSuite, Mesh, and Dokka.
• Manage vendor payments, employee expenses, payroll reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
• Lead monthly closing activities covering accruals, prepaid expenses, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT reports and support statutory reporting and annual audits.
• Improve bookkeeping processes by applying AI tools such as Claude to reduce manual work.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on full-cycle bookkeeping experience, including month-end closing and financial reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite, Mesh, and Dokka.
• Experience in a technology company or startup and the ability to independently manage end-to-end accounting operations.
• Strong proficiency with AI tools such as Claude and experience applying AI to improve operational efficiency.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting requirements.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and strong English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in a global, multi-entity environment with intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
• Experience with MCP integrations and connecting AI tools to external systems.
