Senior Global Bookkeeper

Location: Hod Hasharon, Israel; remote workplace type, with the role described as full-time and hybrid.

The company develops AI-powered anti-money-laundering solutions for banks, fintech companies, and regulators worldwide.

What you will do

• Own day-to-day bookkeeping for the Israeli, UK, and US entities in NetSuite, including multi-entity and multi-currency accounting.
• Process vendor invoices, maintain vendor data, reconcile vendor statements, and communicate with vendors.
• Prepare semi-monthly payment runs, verify purchase orders and approvals in Zip, and process payments to tax authorities.
• Manage corporate card transactions and expenses, perform bank reconciliations, and support weekly cash-flow forecasting.
• Complete monthly-close activities including accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, depreciation, intercompany balances, and recurring journal entries.
• Prepare audit schedules, follow approval and segregation-of-duties controls, coordinate with external accountants, and help build AI agents for recurring bookkeeping checks.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a high-tech company.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience is required.
• Experience with Mesh and Dokka is required.
• Experience managing multiple entities and currencies, including foreign subsidiaries.
• Strong knowledge of Israeli VAT, withholding tax, and National Insurance payments.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and SUMIFS.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work autonomously, own processes end to end, stay highly organized and accurate, and meet close deadlines.
• Comfort with new technology and ability to learn quickly.

Nice to have

• Practical experience using AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot in finance work.
• Experience building or maintaining AI agents or automated workflows for reconciliations, invoice checks, or reporting.
• Experience working with external accounting firms abroad.
• Experience with Zip, HiBob, and Navan.
• Audit support experience with a Big Four firm.
