VP of Accounting (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Tel Aviv office, Israel

What you will do

• Lead the general ledger and monthly, quarterly, and annual close across all entities under US GAAP.
• Oversee consolidations, intercompany accounting, multi-currency reporting, reconciliations, statutory reporting, audits, and international tax compliance.
• Set technical accounting positions covering ASC 606 revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, and other complex transactions.
• Lead billing, accounts receivable, collections, cash application, accounts payable, procurement, payroll accounting, cash management, and stock administration.
• Design and operate internal controls and manage external audits across the US, Israel, and other operating countries.
• Manage finance systems including NetSuite and Zuora, improve processes, and introduce AI and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Licensed CPA in Israel or the US is required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big Four experience.
• Experience leading a full accounting and controllership function for a US-based company with global operations and managing US-based teams.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, Israeli corporate reporting and tax rules, ASC 606, consolidations, intercompany accounting, and transfer pricing.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience, advanced Excel skills, and fluent English required for communication and board-level presentations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zuora or a similar subscription billing platform.
• Experience building and implementing AI and automation tools in a finance organization.
• Background in SaaS, marketplace, or consumer internet businesses.
• Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach and a positive, team-first attitude.
