Digital Training, Content Editor (AI)

Location: Vernon Hills, Illinois, United States; occasional on-site collaboration and minimal travel may be required.

Salary: $26.93–$37.02 per hour at commencement of employment.

What you will do

• Transform raw technical materials from Training Engineers and subject matter experts into polished digital learning assets and instructional videos.
• Build and maintain interactive training modules using AI-based video platforms such as Synthesia and Microsoft Copilot.
• Edit scripts, narration, visuals, screen recordings, and on-screen elements for clarity and engagement.
• Apply standardized visual, instructional design, branding, and quality templates across digital learning materials.
• Collaborate with instructors to align content with course objectives and technical requirements.
• Organize reusable learning assets and update existing content based on product changes and feedback.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Digital Media, Instructional Design, Communications, Engineering Technology, or a related field; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience creating or editing digital learning or instructional content.
• Proficiency with digital content creation and video editing tools, including AI-based platforms such as Synthesia.
• Proficiency with Office365, including Copilot, and familiarity with Learning Management Systems.
• Ability to present technical concepts accurately with guidance from subject matter experts.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and complete employment eligibility verification after hiring.

Nice to have

• Experience in digital content or video production.
• Experience applying branding and instructional design standards.
• Experience with modular or micro-learning strategies.
• Basic understanding of industrial automation concepts.
