Sr. Manager, Learning & Development (MedTech)

Location: Hybrid in the Greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area, Plymouth, MN, US; travel up to 30%. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $155,000–$175,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead learning strategy, curriculum architecture, and education development for physician and internal clinical audiences.
• Design scalable learning pathways combining foundational knowledge, procedural application, case-based learning, hands-on training, and competency assessment.
• Develop e-learning, instructor-led training, presentations, assessments, facilitator guides, and performance support tools.
• Establish learning objectives, curriculum maps, assessment strategies, competency frameworks, and content governance standards.
• Partner with physician faculty, clinical experts, Medical Affairs, Commercial, Marketing, Regulatory, and other stakeholders to create evidence-based education.
• Evaluate program effectiveness and manage internal and external curriculum development resources, vendors, and learning partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Sciences, Healthcare, Clinical Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in learning and development, curriculum design, clinical education, medical education, or a related field in healthcare, medical device, or life sciences organizations.
• Experience designing scalable learning programs, curriculum architectures, and competency-based pathways for physician or clinical audiences.
• Experience translating complex clinical, scientific, procedural, and technical concepts into digital, instructor-led, virtual, hands-on, and blended learning.
• Medical device experience supporting procedure-based physician education, product launches, new indications, or clinical adoption initiatives.
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements, including HIPAA, the Sunshine Act, and interactions with healthcare professionals; ability to travel up to 30%.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital learning technologies, LMS platforms, multimedia development tools, and AI-enabled content development solutions.
• Experience with Articulate Storyline/Rise, Adobe Captivate, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Camtasia, Vyond, Audacity, Cornerstone, Docebo, Litmos, Absorb, Figma, Adobe XD, Zoom, or Teams.
