Learning & Development Specialist (Instructional Design)

Location: Richardson, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Salary: $55,900–$123,500 annual base pay, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus

What you will do

• Design, develop, and build high-quality learning solutions.
• Translate established learning strategies and architectures into engaging, scalable learner experiences.
• Apply instructional design, visual storytelling, and technical development practices.
• Develop instructor-led and eLearning solutions primarily using the Articulate suite and Vyond.
• Partner with subject matter experts, stakeholders, internal customers, external customers, and senior management.
• Ensure learning solutions meet quality requirements, enterprise standards, and learner engagement goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience in instructional design, performance consulting, and/or development, or 6 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and emerging instructional design trends.
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructor-led and eLearning design.
• Effective visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Technical aptitude, analytical skills, and strong inductive and deductive reasoning.
• Ability to analyze information, evaluate results, overcome obstacles, and develop appropriate solutions.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in human resource development, organizational development, or instructional design.
• Familiarity with learning and talent management systems.
• One year of learning and development experience in a corporate or business setting.
