Focus on reducing incidents and environmental impact, maintaining ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 22301 systems, and delivering continuous improvement across site operations.

What you will do
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the site’s EHS, facilities, process safety, and business continuity programmes.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate EHS requirements, including audit governance and corrective actions.
- Lead safety initiatives that reduce incidents, strengthen safety culture, and embed behavioural and preventative approaches.
- Maintain ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301, and occupational health and safety management systems.
- Drive environmental improvements through waste reduction, utility efficiency, and lower environmental impact.
- Set measurable objectives, monitor performance, and deliver continuous improvement supporting operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Requirements
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent advanced occupational health and safety qualification.
- Degree in engineering or a relevant technical or scientific discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Auditor or lead auditor qualification, or relevant experience with EHS management systems.
- NEBOSH Process Safety Management certificate or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of experience leading EHS programmes and audits in manufacturing or a similarly complex operational environment.
- 5+ years of facilities management and capital or project delivery experience, ideally in international, high-volume manufacturing.
Nice to have
- Practical knowledge of business continuity management and organisational resilience.
- Experience with behavioural safety and developing a strong organisational safety culture.
- Experience in process safety management and systems of work.
