AI Software Validation Engineer

Location: Gdansk, Poland. Hybrid work model with time split between the assigned Intel site and off-site work.

Annual salary: PLN 215,740–388,330.

What you will do

• Enable and validate new GenAI and deep learning models in OpenVINO, Optimum-Intel, and internal validation tools.
• Benchmark native and quantized models on Intel hardware, measuring performance, memory consumption, and accuracy.
• Develop and extend open-source benchmarking, testing, and validation tools.
• Build and maintain daily model-enabling CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Groovy, and Python.
• Automate log parsing and execution-failure triage, identifying required model-enablement changes.
• Optimize validation workloads and provide dashboards, metrics, and status reports on model support readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 5–6 years of experience.
• Strong Python scripting skills and familiarity with Groovy or Bash.
• Experience building regular expressions, parsing complex logs, and automating failure analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD systems.
• Strong experience with Linux, Git, and Python testing frameworks such as PyTest.
• Practical experience exploring and testing new AI models through professional work, personal projects, or open-source contributions.

Nice to have

• Experience with OpenVINO, Optimum-Intel, ONNX Runtime, TensorRT, or llama.cpp.
• Experience with benchmarking tools or accuracy-checking frameworks.
• Understanding of model quantization and compression, including native versus quantized model evaluation.
