Senior Python AI Engineer

Location: Hybrid, 3 days a week in the office in Gdańsk, Gdynia, Warsaw, or Łódź, Poland

Rate: 160 PLN/h net + VAT on B2B

What you will do

• Design, build, and improve agent workflows, prompts, and tooling for automated legacy code migration.
• Connect the AI framework with CI/CD and deployment platforms such as Tekton, ArgoCD, and Ansible.
• Work hands-on with agentic coding tools and multiple LLM providers.
• Collaborate with application teams to turn migration cases into repeatable and reliable automation.
• Maintain vendor-agnostic architecture while applying clean-code and testing practices.

Requirements

• Senior-level Python programming skills.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including Git, code reviews, testing, and maintainable code.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD and containerized environments, including Docker and Kubernetes basics.
• Hands-on experience with or strong technical interest in LLMs and AI-assisted development, including prompting, agents, and tool use.
• Ability to understand code in multiple languages, including legacy Java code.
• Fluent English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tekton, ArgoCD, GitOps, Ansible, or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Experience with agentic coding tools, agent frameworks, LLM evaluation, context engineering, or MCP.
• Background in legacy modernization, code migration, or large-scale refactoring.
• Familiarity with Java/Spring, front-end stacks, or other target application technologies.
• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments such as banking or finance.
