QA, Code Quality & CI/CD Expert (Robotics)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work with onsite presence at the R&D office.

What you will do

• Define and enforce software quality, development, code review, change approval, and release standards across robotics, backend, embedded, and cloud teams.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines that automate software compilation, testing, validation, publishing, and deployment.
• Implement unit, integration, system, regression, hardware-software integration, Hardware-in-the-Loop, and Software-in-the-Loop testing practices.
• Standardise container architecture, versioning, dependency management, image distribution, and release traceability.
• Develop secure remote software updates for robot fleets, including staged deployments, targeted rollouts, rollback, and stable-version recovery.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to document procedures, monitor quality, reduce defects, and improve software stability and security.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in QA Automation, CI/CD, DevOps, Release Engineering, or Software Quality.
• Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, pull and merge requests, tags, and releases.
• Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Docker, container-based architectures, automated build and publishing processes, and automated testing strategies.
• Knowledge of Semantic Versioning, dependency management, Linux, software architecture analysis, and technical documentation.
• English proficiency sufficient for technical documentation and day-to-day communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with ROS or ROS 2, robotics, automotive, IoT, embedded systems, or edge computing.
• Knowledge of OTA updates, device fleet management, A/B update systems, rollback mechanisms, or secure boot.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker Compose, static code analysis, dependency security, or software quality metrics.
• Knowledge of C++, Python, Bash, and cybersecurity principles for cloud-connected devices.
