EN/ZH Junior Project Manager - US (Localization)

Location: US (Remote); must be based in the USA and be comfortable working in the US time zone.

What you will do

• Manage multilingual localization projects from quote request through final delivery, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule requirements are met.
• Coordinate translators, editors, localization staff, resource allocation, project schedules, and localization kits.
• Communicate with clients, clarify localization needs, and provide regular project updates.
• Use localization tools and CAT software, including Trados and memoQ, for word-count analysis and quotation preparation.
• Resolve project issues and contribute to improvements in localization processes and systems.
• Prepare reports and coordinate with Operations, Sales, Project Managers, and Business Development Directors across locations and time zones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Localization, Translation, Languages, Project Management, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in localization, project management, or project assistance.
• Proficiency with localization tools and software, including CAT tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Bilingual Mandarin and English; comfortable working in the US time zone.
• Strong project planning, resource and risk management, communication, organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
