Project Manager (Localization)

Location: Costa Rica (Remote)

What you will do

• Prepare project plans, schedules, resource assignments, and budget forecasts with project management and sales stakeholders.
• Coordinate linguists, contractors, formatting resources, and quality assurance activities to deliver localization projects on time and within budget.
• Track project status, risks, timelines, budgets, and contracted services, reporting updates to senior project managers, sales representatives, and clients.
• Manage linguist and client relationships, including assigning linguists, supporting cooperation, and addressing reporting needs.
• Monitor quality checks, maintain production records, and review linguists’ invoices for payment.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Thorough knowledge of project management fundamentals applied to the localization industry.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, multitasking, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus hands-on knowledge of database functions and concepts.
• Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

• Foreign language skills.
• Knowledge of linguistic processes and terminology.
