German-Speaking Localization Project Manager (AI)

Location: Remote from Hungary; the role must be based in Europe

Language service provider delivering multilingual content localization and technology-supported translation solutions across mechanical engineering, corporate publishing, e-commerce, hardware, and software.

What you will do

• Act as the main interface between clients and sales, production, procurement, and other internal departments.
• Manage client communication, calls, meetings, consultations, complaints, reviews, and feedback in German and English.
• Analyze, plan, execute, monitor, coordinate, and deliver localization projects.
• Prepare quotes and invoices, monitor project costs and profitability, and manage revenue forecasts and reporting.
• Coordinate vendors and maintain accurate client and project information in the project wiki.

Requirements

• Native German or German at C1-C2 level.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• A couple of years of experience in the localization industry, preferably in project management.
• Good technical understanding and knowledge of Microsoft products and computer-aided translation tools.
• Understanding of AI-assisted technologies and willingness to integrate them into daily workflows.
• Excellent communication, analytical, structured, goal-oriented, task-management, and time-management skills.
