Systems Analyst Engineer (ServiceNow)

Location: Hybrid in Somerville, Massachusetts, United States; at least 1x weekly onsite in the office. Monday–Friday Eastern business hours required.

Salary: $62,836.80–$89,762.40 annually.

What you will do

• Implement, maintain, and support technical platforms across software, networks, hardware, databases, infrastructure, applications, and security frameworks.
• Manage daily operations for enterprise applications, servers, storage, and networked services.
• Monitor and optimize platform performance, availability, and capacity while troubleshooting complex issues across multiple environments.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Contribute to new platform and service design, upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
• Support security hardening and vulnerability remediation while collaborating with cross-functional technical and business teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• 0–1 year of knowledge or education in systems engineering or system administration.
• Proficiency administering enterprise systems and platforms.
• Understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, load balancers, data structures, and database systems.
• Intermediate scripting and automation skills.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex system and application issues, interpret monitoring data, and apply security-leading practices.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
