Business Performance Improvement - Finance Transformation Senior Consultant (Finance Transformation)

Location: Toronto, Canada. Hybrid work combining in-person work at local hirify.global offices and client sites with remote work; local or out-of-state travel may be required. Applicants must have authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship now or in the future.

What you will do

• Lead the successful completion of project work plans and support project scope, staffing, deliverables, and methodology decisions.
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve client efficiency, profitability, and business processes.
• Assess finance processes and develop process flows, recommendations, and future-state roadmaps.
• Build trusted relationships with client personnel and professional associates, including executive stakeholders.
• Mentor, train, coach, and supervise interns and consultants while coordinating work across teams.
• Evaluate, organize, interpret, and communicate data, issues, risks, and proposed solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in consulting, FP&A, financial reporting, finance transformation, assurance services, or a related field.
• Experience or understanding of process improvement, business transformation, finance transformation, and project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of accounting and finance processes, financial frameworks, accounting operations, financial systems, and business intelligence tools.
• Experience mentoring or supervising teams and communicating issues, risks, and challenges to clients and executives.
• Authorization to work in Canada without current or future sponsorship is required.
