What you will do
- Manage the cost-effective supply of materials and services in line with customer requirements, company processes, safety, quality, and delivery standards.
- Drive cost savings and supplier performance for the Grid Technologies business.
- Lead supplier negotiations and contract management while ensuring compliance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop strategic supplier relationships, supplier development programs, scorecards, and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with engineering, project management, legal, operations, finance, and order management stakeholders.
- Identify supply-chain risks, define product strategies, and optimize purchasing volumes and market opportunities.
Requirements
- University degree in supply chain, business, or a related field.
- Long-term professional experience in procurement involving engineered products or services in project environments.
- Experience in service or project business, international sourcing, and contract law.
- Excellent English is required; German language skills are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and analytical tools, with experience in digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
