Buyer - Communication Services (Maternity Leave Cover)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal. Hybrid working model combining onsite and offsite work.

hirify.global Defence and Space is an aerospace company operating a General Procurement function across hirify.global core countries and global regions.

What you will do

• Define and implement worldwide procurement strategies for the Communication services portfolio, including corporate events, exhibitions, airshows, and creative services.
• Manage end-to-end calls for tender, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract drafting, modifications, NDAs, and procurement system updates.
• Optimize total cost of ownership and monitor supplier delivery against cost, time, quality, and savings targets.
• Lead supplier relationship and risk management, including supplier assessments and opportunities for innovation.
• Contribute to transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across General Procurement.
• Maintain cross-functional alignment and compliance with hirify.global procurement processes and Ethics & Compliance rules.

Requirements

• Minimum five years of procurement experience.
• Strong skills in tendering, advanced negotiation, legal and contract management, and supplier relationship management.
• Knowledge of export control and sustainability laws and regulations.
• Fluent written and spoken English; applications must be submitted exclusively in English.
• Ability to use or quickly adapt to Coupa, SAP, E-Proc, Airsupply, and Google Suite.
• Customer-oriented, delivery-focused, influential, collaborative, ethical, and comfortable with remote working.

• French and/or German language skills.
