Summer 2027 Intern - Property & Casualty Claims (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid work in the United States; hub locations are Richardson, TX; Tempe, AZ; Dunwoody, GA; and Bloomington, IL.

Pay: $24.00/hour. A $2,000 internship stipend is also available.

What you will do

• Learn claims handling through investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and policy application.
• Work with medical, property, liability, and injury claims alongside experienced claims teams.
• Collaborate with agents, insurers, and repair shops.
• Participate in mentorship opportunities and engage with senior leadership.
• Support volunteer activities and community initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work lawfully in the United States immediately; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Be a full-time student enrolled throughout the internship.
• Be majoring in Business, Risk Management/Insurance, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, sound decision-making, communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and customer focus.
• Be available for the full internship period from June 2, 2027 through August 11, 2027, Monday through Friday, 38.75 hours per week.
