Project Manager (Healthcare/Insurance)

Location: Remote, United States; work at home in Pennsylvania. US citizenship and a background check are required due to Department of Defense contract requirements.

What you will do

• Define project objectives, scope, success measures, assumptions, governance, schedules, milestones, and resource needs.
• Lead cross-functional delivery across business, technology, operations, clinical, regulatory, finance, data, vendors, and other partners.
• Manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, changes, costs, quality, readiness, and delivery commitments.
• Prepare status reporting, governance materials, recommendations, and decision-ready information for sponsors and leaders.
• Coordinate implementation, stabilization, adoption, training, transition to operations, and project closure.
• Lead matrixed teams, resolve conflict and ambiguity, maintain accountability, and contribute to PMO improvements.

Requirements

• US citizenship and successful completion of a background check are required.
• High school diploma or GED; a bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.
• At least 1–3 years of project management or project leadership experience; five or more years of progressively responsible project experience is preferred.
• Experience with project charters, integrated plans, schedules, RAID logs, decision logs, status reports, stakeholder communications, and project controls.
• Experience coordinating business and technical teams in matrixed environments and managing scope, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, changes, resources, vendors, and finances.
• Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, negotiation, organization, judgment, and follow-through skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, insurance, regulated operations, technology-enabled delivery, or another complex environment.
• Experience with predictive, agile, or hybrid delivery approaches and structured governance, audit, or compliance requirements.
• PMP or comparable project management certification; change-management or agile certification.
