CMDB Administrator (ServiceNow)

Location: Durant, Oklahoma, United States; hybrid schedule with 60% onsite and 40% remote work, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

What you will do

• Administer the ServiceNow CMDB, including CI classes, attributes, relationships, identification and reconciliation rules, and lifecycle standards.
• Monitor and improve CMDB health by resolving incomplete, incorrect, duplicate, stale, or noncompliant configuration data.
• Configure and troubleshoot the Identification and Reconciliation Engine, Discovery, MID Server, MID-less, and agent-based technologies.
• Maintain CI relationships and support Service Mapping, dependency modeling, impact analysis, and CSDM alignment.
• Administer CMDB integrations with SCCM, Intune, Jamf, VMware, Active Directory, cloud providers, monitoring tools, security platforms, and asset-management systems.
• Integrate CMDB data with Incident, Problem, Change, Vulnerability, and Asset Management processes; document standards and support testing, upgrades, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, HAM, SAM, or related platform capabilities.
• Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, CI relationships, Discovery, Service Mapping, and data governance.
• Experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management and Software Asset Management processes and implementations.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, including Configuration, Asset, Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Experience with ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, data quality management, enterprise infrastructure, Agile, and SDLC delivery models.
