Competence and Training Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; on-site role

A global aerospace company designing, manufacturing, and delivering aeronautical and space products, services, and solutions.

What you will do

• Identify training needs across production staff and coordinate training sessions.
• Ensure trainee availability and provide suitable trainers for each session.
• Manage the training center, including room allocation, materials, and maintenance.
• Track competencies required across Operations teams and monitor competency status.
• Coordinate training actions to address competency gaps.
• Define key performance indicators and maintain absenteeism analyses and improvement plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in competence management, preferably in a large industrial or aerospace environment.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, analytical, and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
• Availability for an interim or temporary assignment.
