Solutions Engineer UAS / Aviation

hirify.global is building a software platform for AI-powered autonomous systems for enterprise and government customers.

What you will do

• Integrate, validate, and prepare hirify.global-powered drone systems for operational deployment.
• Flash and configure firmware, calibrate sensors, tune ESCs, and bring up flight-control systems using PX4 and other autopilot ecosystems.
• Execute end-of-line software validation, functional testing, payload and camera load-seat testing, and complete UAV system validation.
• Troubleshoot embedded systems, communication interfaces, sensors, power systems, and hardware-software interactions.
• Conduct hands-on flight testing to validate platform stability, safety, and mission performance.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware/software, manufacturing, operations, QC, and external equipment providers to improve validation workflows and reduce end-of-line cycle times.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Technology, Robotics, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is optional.
• Hands-on experience with autopilot, mission-planning, and navigation software, including firmware flashing, configuration, and flight validation.
• Strong foundation in embedded systems, firmware debugging, and hardware-software integration.
• Proficiency in C and/or C++, MAVLink, or equivalent datalink protocols.
• Experience with UAV sensor calibration, ESC tuning, flight-controller configuration, flight testing, and system validation.
• EU citizenship required.

Nice to have

• Understanding of drone manufacturing, QC processes, and end-of-line testing methodologies.
