Claims Handler - RPA

What you will do

• Manage allocated claims from cradle to grave, including property and liability claims.
• Communicate with insurers, policyholders, brokers, and other parties throughout the claims process.
• Investigate claims, gather evidence and documentation, and refer cases for field investigation when required.
• Prepare reports covering policy indemnity, legal liability, quantum, and recommended tactics.
• Negotiate settlements within agreed authority limits and maintain accurate reserves.
• Follow documented procedures and client requirements while keeping technical knowledge current.

Requirements

• Experience managing claims from cradle to grave.
• Experience managing property claims and investigating liability claims.
• Knowledge of injury claim valuation, Civil Procedure Rules, and the Claims Portal.
• Ability to manage a personal caseload and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and versatile approach.
• Industry experience is advantageous but not essential; full training and support are provided.

Nice to have

• Experience managing Employer’s Liability and Public Liability claims.
• Familiarity with reserving strategies.
• Strong communication skills across different levels.
