What you will do

• Turn internal AI automation ideas and agentic workflows into focused, time-boxed experiments.
• Build, evaluate, and demonstrate working prototypes and production-ready AI capabilities.
• Create evaluation sets, scorecards, regression tests, and guardrails for non-deterministic AI systems.
• Build the data foundations and retrieval capabilities that support agentic AI and internal data products.
• Work as a peer within the AI Automation Hub and recommend whether experiments should be stopped, expanded, or handed off.
• Coach teams across hirify.global on responsible AI innovation and communicate findings to executive audiences.

Requirements

• Substantial hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or applied AI.
• Experience with agentic workflows, multi-agent systems, or production LLM applications.
• Experience with evaluation engineering, including evaluation sets, scorecards, regression tests, and guardrails.
• Strong production-quality Python skills and experience with modern AI tooling, including LLM frameworks, vector stores, and evaluation tools.
• Cloud data experience with BigQuery and at least one production ML or AI platform such as Vertex AI.
• Ability to explain findings clearly to executive audiences and coach non-technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in computer vision, multimodal AI, or retrieval.
• Experience in marketplace, e-commerce, or content-rich product environments.
• Open-source contributions or published applied work.
• A Master's degree or PhD.
