AI Engineer (Fintech): Building and deploying AI and machine learning solutions for payment-related business applications with an accent on generative AI, agentic AI, foundation models, and LLMs. Focus on taking proof-of-concepts into production, designing scalable AI architectures, developing LangChain-based workflows, and embedding governance, observability, and compliance.
Location: Hybrid role based in London, United Kingdom

What you will do
- Assess, design, build, optimize, and deploy machine learning and AI models, including foundation models.
- Research emerging AI technologies, develop prototypes, and run proof-of-concepts.
- Take AI solutions from experimentation through production deployment and continual improvement.
- Develop agentic AI workflows with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain.
- Design AI system blueprints, integrate solutions with existing infrastructure, and optimize performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, technology, and business teams to identify and deliver high-impact AI use cases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AI, machine learning, data science, or a related field.
- Strong Python skills and experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.
- Knowledge of deep learning, NLP, LLM architectures, fine-tuning, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
- Experience deploying AI solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Familiarity with agentic AI, orchestration frameworks, multimodal AI, AI governance, or MLOps.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, experimentation, and learning skills.
Nice to have
- Advanced degree in AI, computer science, data science, or a related discipline.
- Research publications, patents, or open-source contributions in AI or machine learning.
- Knowledge of payments, fintech, or financial services.
