Lead Data Scientist (Fintech)

Location: London or Barcelona offices, or distributed remote working within the UK, with ad hoc meetings in London.

Salary: £95,000–£130,000 per year, plus performance-based incentive awards and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the data strategy supporting customer engagement and the evolution of hirify.global’s banking products.
• Develop and implement experimentation best practices for data-informed decision-making.
• Set data standards and improve data practices across the organisation.
• Work with product, engineering, design, and research leaders to build and iterate on product ideas.
• Mentor data scientists and analytics engineers while promoting knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Strategic understanding of commercial products and how data can create customer value.
• Experience working with cross-functional, fast-moving teams.
• Strong interest in experimentation and applying new data techniques to challenging problems.
• Ability to define success metrics, understand data nuances, and challenge existing approaches.
• Ability to work from the UK remotely or from the London or Barcelona offices, with occasional meetings in London.
