Staff Technical Sourcing Manager (Networking)

Location: Sunnyvale, California or Bellevue, Washington, United States

Base salary: $143,000–$210,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead strategic sourcing for networking, connectivity, optical, and backbone hardware used in data center deployments.
• Develop sourcing strategies, roadmaps, competitive analyses, and diversified supply options.
• Build relationships with strategic suppliers and executive stakeholders.
• Lead complex negotiations, RFQs, RFPs, supplier selections, master supply agreements, and statements of work.
• Partner with engineering on technology roadmaps, prototype sourcing, and transitions from new product introduction to mass production.
• Improve supply chain efficiency, cost savings, total cost of ownership, and supply resilience.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data center, hyperscaler, cloud service provider, AI system hardware supply chain, or related industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or Business Administration, or equivalent high-tech commodity management experience.
• Experience translating strategy into execution and delivering measurable results.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, consensus-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with should-cost modeling, value analysis, and partnerships with C-suite executives and key suppliers.
• Must meet U.S. export-control eligibility requirements to access controlled information.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a technical, engineering, or business field.
• Expertise in emerging networking technologies, market dynamics, and high-performance hardware supply chains.
