Infrastructure Procurement Specialist

Salary: $99,000–$206,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

What you will do

• Manage procurement accounts, operational funds, recurring payments, receipts, audits, and fund requests.
• Research vendors and purchase infrastructure, technical equipment, and services that meet operational requirements.
• Coordinate with global vendors, systems administrators, engineers, and operations teams on deliveries, deployments, and service maintenance.
• Monitor vendor performance, pricing, market conditions, service interruptions, and operational issues.
• Maintain procurement databases, logs, reports, tickets, dashboards, records, and standard operating procedures.
• Analyze procurement data and market trends, identify blockers, and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and procurement experience.
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, including vendor relationships and technical equipment or service purchases.
• Experience managing multiple accounts, complex procurement processes, financial tracking, budgeting, and account reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail, ethical integrity, procedural discipline, operational security awareness, and situational awareness.
• Basic knowledge of networking and virtual computing concepts, databases, data management, troubleshooting, and command-line tools.
• Proficiency with MS Office or LibreOffice, especially Excel or Calc; experience with Atlassian tools, Linux or macOS, password managers, and collaborative communication software.

Nice to have

• CPSM, CPP, CompTIA Network+, or a similar technical certification.
• Experience with VMware, Parallels, cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure, data center hardware, network equipment, and infrastructure specifications.
• Familiarity with wallet clients and cryptocurrency payment systems.
• Experience supporting government or DoD customers, technology procurement, IT supply chains, managed service providers, or infrastructure-as-a-service environments.
• Multilingual abilities for working with global vendors.
