NPI Sourcing Manager (Networking)

Location: Hybrid role requiring work from an HPE office 1–2 days per week, primarily in Sunnyvale, California, with possible work in San Jose or Roseville. US citizenship is required. Occasional travel to other HPE offices and possible international travel once per year.

Salary: USD 120,000–243,000 annual base salary in California, plus possible variable incentives.

What you will do

• Lead early supplier engagement and technical sourcing for new HPE Networking product programs.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Hardware Program Management, and procurement teams to identify and qualify suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships, resolve issues, and mitigate quality, delivery, cost, cybersecurity, and supply risks.
• Lead Materials List Review activities and manage component-level cost and schedule impacts.
• Drive supplier accountability, on-time delivery, and the transition from development to volume manufacturing.
• Support responsible sourcing, supplier sustainability, and Net Zero Carbon initiatives.

Requirements

• Supply chain experience and some program management experience.
• Engineering and networking product experience, including routers and switches.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Experience in the semiconductor or high-tech industry.
• US citizenship and the ability to work from an HPE office in California are required.
