Elec. System Install. Design Engineering (CATIA V5)

Location: Albacete, Spain. Full-time onsite role with production and assembly-line support duties. Business travel may be required two to three times per year.

What you will do

• Create 3D installations for electrical equipment and harnesses using CATIA V5 and the EHI module.
• Study and position harness supports and create interface drawings with the surrounding environment.
• Produce 2D manufacturing drawings for parts, equipment assemblies, and harnesses.
• Create harness installation documentation with 3DVia and perform impact analysis for design modifications.
• Coordinate with other departments and engineering disciplines within the design office.
• Support assembly lines and production centers while maintaining the quality approach.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, aeronautics, or a related discipline.
• Experience with electrical equipment and harness installation in a 3D environment, DMU, and production drawing creation.
• Strong knowledge of CATIA V5, including specific electrical modules.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment and device installation regulations in the aeronautical environment.
• Negotiation-level Spanish and advanced English and/or French are required.
• Methodical and rigorous approach, teamwork, transparent communication, adaptability, and the ability to work in a complex environment.
