Lead AI Product Manager

Location: Brighton HQ, United Kingdom; hybrid working arrangement

What you will do

• Own the AI Automation Hub backlog, prioritisation, delivery rhythm, and lifecycle of internal AI use cases.
• Turn business opportunities into sequenced programmes of work with clear hypotheses and success criteria.
• Partner with the Decision & AI Scientist to define evaluations and determine when an AI Eval is required.
• Work with the AI Automation Engineer to guide ideas from prototype through production.
• Coach teams across the business through the Innovation Framework to identify, scope, and test responsible AI use cases.
• Present clear evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders, including whether to stop, scale, or hand off initiatives.

Requirements

• Hands-on product management experience with substantial depth in AI and/or data-driven products.
• Practical understanding of LLMs, agentic patterns, RAG, and automation tools such as n8n or Zapier.
• Experience running AI Evals or comparable quality frameworks for non-deterministic systems.
• Hypothesis-driven approach with the ability to scope tightly and evaluate outcomes honestly.
• Confidence using Jira, Figma, FigJam, and generative prototyping tools such as Figma Make or Lovable.
• Strong trusted-advisor communication skills and comfort working independently in a self-directed squad.

Nice to have

• Experience in marketplace, e-commerce, or circular commerce.
• Experience in or alongside a Centre of Excellence or internal innovation team.
• Exposure to conversational UI design and evaluation.
