What you will do

• Capture and translate customer, site, and project requirements into detailed mechanical and high-voltage engineering solutions.
• Develop and customise mechanical designs, components, layouts, drawings, and technical documentation in line with standards and specifications.
• Select mechanical components and create cost-effective, safe, reliable solutions for customer-specific assets.
• Manage design changes, technical proposals, reports, plans, test procedures, maintenance instructions, and verification tools.
• Support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance activities at customer sites.
• Coordinate delivery with customers, partners, commercial teams, and internal service departments while managing schedules and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with Solid Edge or a similar CAD package, including 2D technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and design practices.
• Ability to identify pragmatic, technically sound, and cost-effective solutions under time constraints.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for installations, surveys, and on-site learning.
