Head of Strategic Finance (Fintech)

Location: Remote, United States; preference for candidates in the New York City area.

Stablecoin-native banking platform providing corporate cards, payments, treasury, and spend solutions for global enterprises across 35 countries.

What you will do

• Lead the Strategic Finance function and provide quantitative analysis and strategic recommendations to company leadership.
• Own annual budgeting, forecasting, monthly performance analysis, headcount planning, product forecasting, and the long-range operating plan.
• Develop unit economics and segment reporting across products and geographies, including fiat and crypto operations.
• Prepare monthly performance packages, board materials, investor materials, and budget-versus-actuals reporting.
• Partner with Data, Finance, Capital Markets, Financial Operations, and Risk to connect credit facilities, utilization, losses, liquidity, growth, and returns.
• Manage the systems and tooling roadmap supporting Strategic Finance and the wider finance organization.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in banking or credit investing followed by 4–8 years in operating roles at fast-paced global fintech companies.
• Experience in a balance-sheet business such as lending, cards, or payments with facilities; pure SaaS Strategic Finance experience is not suitable.
• Experience building AI-native automation and workflows with Claude or other models for financial analysis, modeling, reporting, and finance operations.
• Fluency in crypto and stablecoins, or the ability to develop this expertise quickly.
• Personal experience leading at least one complete budgeting and planning cycle, developing high-performing teams, and mentoring finance professionals.
• Ability to work in entrepreneurial, rapidly changing hyper-growth environments and present effectively to boards and institutional investors.
