Finance Operations Intern

Location: Toronto, Canada; flexible hybrid work model

Salary: $25 CAD per hour. Internship term: January to April 2027.

What you will do

• Support the organization-wide rollout and user adoption of the Esker Procurement platform.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of Esker Procurement configuration, workflows, and functionality.
• Provide day-to-day employee support, respond to procurement inquiries, and troubleshoot system and process issues.
• Deliver one-on-one and group training sessions and run support drop-in sessions.
• Maintain training materials, documentation, and user guides.
• Provide Accounts Payable support and assist with Finance Operations projects and ad hoc requests.

Requirements

• Currently studying Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Ability to assist employees, answer questions, and provide a positive user experience.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify root causes.
• Comfort learning new applications and understanding system configuration, workflows, and functionality.
• Strong organization and attention to detail when managing requests, documentation, procurement, and Accounts Payable activities.
• Ability to collaborate with Finance Operations, end users, and stakeholders across the organization.
