Finance - 4-Month Internship

Location: Oakville, Ontario, Canada; flexible work environment with flex hours, telecommuting, and digital workspaces.

Salary: CAD 26–30 per hour

What you will do

• Support digital projects across finance and business development, including financial planning and analysis, project finance, business controlling, and commercial project management.
• Map current processes, identify pain points and root causes, document requirements, and propose practical improvements.
• Improve reporting, data quality, transparency, and decision-making through digital tools and automation.
• Translate business needs into project actions and collaborate with finance, operations, sales, and digital teams to test, deploy, and sustain enhancements.
• Contribute to initiatives that simplify workflows and reduce manual effort across the Gas Services business.

Requirements

• Student, intern, or apprentice interested in finance, digital transformation, process improvement, and finance technology.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the ability to identify root causes and recommend improvements.
• Interest in data, automation, reporting tools, and digital solutions for business operations.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work across finance, business development, operations, and digital teams.
• Comfort working with data, Excel, dashboards, and business systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with automation, data visualization, or low-code tools.
