Product Intern (Money Movement)

Location: Toronto, Canada; flexible hybrid work model

Salary: $25 CAD per hour. Internship term: January–April 2027.

What you will do

• Support daily product activities and resolve product-related issues with squads, sales, engineering, marketing, and partners.
• Support early-stage strategy development for hirify.global e-Transfer across retail, commerce, and business use cases.
• Evaluate release processes, create process diagrams, organize Confluence content, and support product communications.
• Support the product roadmap by defining requirements, conducting product research, and assisting delivery squads.
• Analyze market research, user feedback, and large unclean data sources to identify product opportunities and visualize insights.
• Prepare documentation and research to support product and squad initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently completing an undergraduate degree at a Canadian institution in business, computer science, engineering, econometrics, data science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work independently.
• Experience with data analysis, research, and tools such as Google Analytics, Google Sheets, SQL, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to translate user feedback into actionable product insights.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Power BI, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of sentiment analysis or open-source software packages.
• Experience with SQL or Python for data analysis.
• Experience with Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Interest in software development or a technical background.
• Familiarity with product development processes and agile methodologies.
